Conclusion
Hopefully by
completing this WebQuest you have learned about what is happening in
Darfur. But more than that, I hope you have become aware that this
WebQuest is not about you putting more information in your minds and
getting a good grade. It is far more important for you to realize
that real people are being hurt and killed every day in ways that
are unimaginable for most of us. The last question I want you to
answer is: What are you going to do about it? That’s right, what
are you going to do? I challenge you to take up the
cause of oppressed and hurting people because when students mobilize
and choose to take a stand against injustice, things happen. Darfur
does not need the world to turn a blind eye and deaf ear to their
suffering. Just because you are young and a student (like me), you
are not incapable of helping, nor are your efforts insignificant.
You’ve already educated yourself and that is the first step to
taking action. Now go to
Google, type in “Darfur” and see what else you can do.
